- Protocol: V2Ray-only (no OpenVPN).

- Plans: Free (ads, 2-hour daily limit, 4+ servers) vs Premium (₹350/month, unlimited bandwidth, zero ads, no time limit, up to 10 Gbps servers, 50+ premium servers).
1) Scope
This Policy applies to the Cap VPN Android app and related services (the “Service”). Our website (capvpn.net) may use cookies/analytics as described under Cookies & Website.
2) What we do not collect (No-Logs)
Cap VPN follows a strict no-activity-logs approach. We do not monitor or store:
- Your browsing history or traffic content
- DNS queries for user-level profiling
- Mapping of user identities to destination IP addresses
3) Information we may process
a) Minimal technical & diagnostics
- Device and app data (e.g., OS version, device model, app version)
- Connection lifecycle events (connect/disconnect timestamps), server region, anonymous performance metrics
- Aggregate bandwidth totals (per period) for capacity planning
- Crash/diagnostic logs (non-content technical data)
This telemetry never includes the content of your VPN traffic.
b) Account & Billing (Google Play)
- All paid purchases are handled through Google Play Billing.
- We don’t collect or store your full payment card details. We may receive subscription status and purchase tokens from Google to provision Premium access.
c) Advertising (Free plan only)
- The Free plan is ad-supported. Ad partners’ SDKs may process device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID), coarse location (approximate via IP), and app events to deliver/measure ads.
- You can limit ad personalization in Android settings. Premium removes ads inside the app.
4) How we use information
- To deliver and operate the Service (V2Ray connections, routing, anti-abuse)
- To improve performance and availability (capacity planning, latency optimization)
- To troubleshoot bugs/crashes
- To verify billing/entitlements via Google Play
- To comply with legal obligations and maintain security
5) Legal bases (where applicable)
- Performance of a contract: to provide the Service you requested
- Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the Service
- Consent: where required (e.g., personalized ads on Free)
- Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws
6) Sharing & disclosure
- No sale of personal data.
- Service providers: Google Play Billing, crash/analytics, infrastructure providers—only as needed to run the Service under appropriate agreements.
- Legal: we may disclose information to comply with law or valid legal process.
7) International transfers & servers
Our VPN servers and infrastructure may be located in multiple countries. Your traffic may transit across borders. We do not keep activity logs; limited operational telemetry is processed as outlined above.
8) Security
We apply industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, need-to-know). No system is 100% secure; risks inherent to internet transmission remain.
9) Retention
- Operational/diagnostics data is retained only as long as necessary to operate the Service, ensure security, troubleshoot issues, and meet legal requirements—then deleted, aggregated, or anonymized.
- Billing/entitlement records may be retained per Google Play and applicable law.
10) Your choices & controls
- Ads (Free): use Android settings to reset/limit the Advertising ID. Premium removes in-app ads.
- Manage subscription: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cap VPN.

11) Your rights (jurisdiction-dependent)
Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR/UK GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object/restrict processing. Because we do not keep activity logs, some requests may not apply. Send requests via the contacts below; we will respond per applicable law.
12) Children’s privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
13) Cookies & Website
The app does not use cookies. Our website (capvpn.net) may use essential cookies and basic analytics for performance and traffic metrics. You can control cookies via your browser settings.
14) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the app, website, or email (if available). The “Last Updated” date will reflect the latest version.
