Your Location: Detecting... · Your IP: -- · Your Status: CHECKING ·

A VPN, or Virtual Private Network, creates an encrypted tunnel between your device and the internet. Instead of connecting directly to websites through your ISP, your traffic is routed through a secure VPN server. This hides your real IP address and makes it much harder for anyone to spy on what you do online.

How Does a VPN Work?

  1. You open the CapVPN app and tap Connect.
  2. Your device builds an encrypted tunnel to a CapVPN server.
  3. All your internet traffic travels through that tunnel.
  4. Websites see the VPN server IP, not your real IP.
  5. Your ISP sees encrypted data, but cannot read your activity.

Why Use a VPN?

  • Privacy: Hide your IP address and browsing history from ISPs and advertisers.
  • Security: Protect passwords and banking data on public WiFi.
  • Freedom: Access content and apps blocked by network or region.
  • Speed: Bypass ISP throttling on streaming and gaming traffic.
